Pack 866 is a member of the Soaring Eagle District of the Sam Houston Area Council of the Boy Scouts of America. We are chartered through Gleason Elementary, a Cypress Fairbanks ISD Exemplary School. After you login, you can access more resources like our Calendar and Leadership Roster. | | | PACK 866 SCOUTING FOR FOOD 2012 SERVICE PROJECT Our Pack will have a wonderful opportunity this Spring to help replenish the food pantry for Northwest Assistance Ministries (“NAM”) We will be conducting a non-perishable food drive in the neighborhoods near Gleason Elementary. The food collected will be delivered to NAM. During the months of March and April, food donations to NAM are matched by an outside Foundation. So NAM will receive twice what we collect!

Pack 866 is proud to be celebrating our second decade at Gleason Elementary School and equally proud to be recognized as a Centennial Quality Scouting Unit and a Pacesetter Unit within our district. We’ve received the recognition for achieving excellence in our program.
We appreciate the value that scouting brings to each and every boy that participates in our program. The Boy Scouts of America celebrates its centennial birthday in 2010 and for 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, these values are even more relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential.
Scouting helps our boys develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that will influence their adult lives. Our scouts experience a great deal of fun and excitement in the variety of activities and events that our leaders build into each and every program.
