Pack 866 is proud to be celebrating our second decade at Gleason Elementary School and equally proud to be recognized as a Centennial Quality Scouting Unit and a Pacesetter Unit within our district. We’ve received the recognition for achieving excellence in our program.
We appreciate the value that scouting brings to each and every boy that participates in our program. The Boy Scouts of America celebrates its centennial birthday in 2010 and for 100 years, Scouting programs have instilled in youth the values found in the Scout Oath and Scout Law. Today, these values are even more relevant in helping youth grow to their full potential.
Scouting helps our boys develop academic skills, self-confidence, ethics, leadership skills, and citizenship skills that will influence their adult lives. Our scouts experience a great deal of fun and excitement in the variety of activities and events that our leaders build into each and every program.
We invite you to visit our Pack Meetings to experience for yourself the fun and enjoyment that Pack 866 delivers to our Scouts. If you like what you see, then we invite you to make our pack your home for Cub Scouting. Thank you again for visiting our website. We hope to see you soon.
